Aaron received a Bachelor of Music degree in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma City University in 2009 and his Master of Fine Arts in Directing from Baylor University in 2018. He is currently serving as a full-time lecturer in the Theatre Department at Baylor University During his time at Baylor, Aaron directed The Pavilionand The New Gershwin Musical: Crazy For You.
In addition to his creative work, Aaron has published articles in Ecumenica, The Texas Theatre Journal, and the upcoming Hamilton: History, Hip-Hop and Politics: Essays on the Afterbirth of a Nation. Aaron has also presented papers at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education conference, Comparative Drama Conference, Mid-America Theatre Conference, Texas Educators Theatre Association, and the Southwest American Pop Culture Conference.
When not working on a show, Aaron enjoys time with his wife Holly and daughter, Eliza Grace. Aaron has directed and choreographed over 20 musical productions and hopes that his creative and scholarly work helps promote diversity and inclusion in the arts.
